NEIS is the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) helps eligible unemployed people to start and run their new, viable small business. NEIS can help you become self-sufficient and independent by establishing a new small business.
The program consists of two parts. The first part is 13 weeks of training in either a Certificate III in Micro Business Management or Certificate IV in Small Business Management. During this time participants will receive assistance with completing a business plan.
The second part of the program is a 12 months of mentoring for the eligible NEIS participant which occurs once the training is completed and business plan approved. During this phase, participants will receive NEIS allowance for 12months whilst operating their business. Knowledge Plus will assess the commercial viability of your business at set points throughout the year.
