In order to deliver training that will meet the goals our participants and their employers, we conduct a thorough needs assessment and regular evaluation on all aspects of services delivered. The tools and processes used to assess the needs of our learners and evaluate services delivered are as follows:
Workforce Training Needs Analysis tool
For learners who hold current employment, an assessment of the needs of the organisation is first identified and the current and future goals (needs) of the business as well as the current skills and skills gaps within the business are captured using this tool.
Individual Training Needs Analysis tool
This tool is used to identify the goals of the learner and their current skills. For those learners who are employed, the employer is asked to complete a similar questionaire where skills required to fulfil a specific role are identified. This process requires the individual and their manager to rate competency against the skills identified as pertinent to the role. From the training needs analysis, a training plan for the individual is created.
Individualised training plan
This plan details the training components, tailored support, outcomes and pathways for each individual. The outcome component includes the essential performance criteria (from the recommended qualification) aligned against the key functions within a specific job description. This plan also forms the basis of the supervisor (3rd party) report upon achievement of competency.
Workforce 2 year training schedule
For our business clients we create a 2 year workforce training schedule and manage the training and pathways for each of staff. This plan is reviewed regularly with client and is adjusted according to the changes to the clients business.
For learners without current employment, the training plan also lists resources, services and support relevant to the individual’s learning pathway.
Evaluate satisfaction
Both the learner (and their manager where applicable) are required to complete at least two evaluations (more if the length of the training exceeds 12 months). The evaluation seeks feedback in 4 areas: 1) delivery 2) service 3) skills improvements 4) achievement of goals (individual and company goals).
Seek feedback from all providers
This process can be carried out informally or formally where assessors and employers (where applicable) come together to validate, compare, evaluate and reach agreement about the service, tools and processes.
We pride ourselves in our commitment to continually seek opportunities for improvement to allow us to offer the utmost delivery efficiency and quality of services to all our clients.
